Sigrid Blome-Eberwein, M.D. will share her vast experience with NovoSorb BTM over the last three years. Her center was one of the first to use BTM in the United States. Dr Blome- Eberwein will present a snapshot of her case experience including an extremely challenging facial reconstruction. Following the webinar, she will answer questions and outline her decision-making process.

Dr Blome-Eberwein is a burn and reconstructive plastic surgeon at Leigh Valley Health Network, where she also serves as the Associate Medical Director for the Regional Burn Center. She is a certified German Medical Association-Specialist in Plastic Surgery.

She completed her residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery at BG Unfallklinik Ludwigshafen in Germany. As well as a fellowship in Burns at University of Southern California Medical Center, in Los Angeles, CA.

Her specialities include burn surgery, burn recovery and wound care. Her academic focus is in scar treatment after healing, and in finding new ways to cloak scars in to becoming more like normal skin.
