Prof Roy Kimble is the Director of Paediatric Surgery, Burns, and Trauma at Queensland Children’s Hospital, Australia’s largest children’s hospital. Founder and Head of the Centre for Children’s Burns and Trauma Research, Prof Kimble has authored over 250 peer-reviewed papers and presented as a keynote speaker at international conferences in 21 countries.

Dr Paul Baker is a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon specialising in skin oncology, hand surgery, scar revision, and burn reconstruction. Trained internationally, including at Canniesburn Plastic Surgery Unit in the UK, Dr. Baker has been practicing in New Zealand since 2017, focusing on improving patient outcomes, including those affected by the White Island tragedy.

Dr Justine O’Hara is a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon with over 15 years of experience both nationally and internationally. Based in Sydney, Dr O’Hara leads the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Concord General Hospital. She is a key figure in the NSW Severe Burns Injury Service and is heavily involved in the education and training of future plastic surgeons through the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), the Australasian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (ASAPS), and the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS).
